17 Apr: Platinum Ball (Dinner & Dance)

A grand occasion! What shall we say. The official first “Platinum Ball” was an astounding success. About 200 guests invaded the Grand Hyatt’s Ball Room on the evening and only left in the early hours of the next morning. Our thanks to all committee members who spent hours in making this an event that will be difficult to follow. If you missed it, you have missed out. But don’t cry out in vain and don't consider “seppuku” (yet) - there will be more events like this

29 May: Sundowners at the Dolphin

Summer is on us and this was the last item on the SAGO social calendar prior to the big exodus in June/July was held again at one of our favourite watering holes—the Dolphin. We were nearly 100 people the evening and we had a great easy evening of chatting and socializing. Thank you for all the people that have managed to attend and we hope to see you all back in force at the AGM late in August.

The “official” SAGO year has gone and we need new registrations and blood. Come and do your thing for mankind!
